What we believe about God and the world, and how this belief guides our lives   

       We believe that the God who created and redeemed this whole world offers the best and only solution to our problems, including the big ones of war, sickness, and death.

          This God can be known personally through His Word, through His presence in the fellowship of all who follow and believe in Him, and through His sacraments.  He is also known through the presence of His Spirit within us to hear our prayers and to give us guidance, protection, and comfort.

          We hold that complete salvation from sin, death, and hell was achieved by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  This salvation, then, is received by anyone and everyone who places their trust in Jesus alone for forgiveness and eternal life. 

          We join to honor this amazing God and to celebrate His presence among us in our worship times.  It is there we find strength and guidance for the decisions and difficulties of life.

          The Bible is the basis for our faith and our teaching.  Our worship services always have a special place for it—and for the music of faith.  We reach out to our community through our participation in the Intercongregation Community Association—ICA Foodshelf—and to our world through our support for evangelical mission work as well as caring for human needs.
